The Must Visit Shopping Destination: Battersea Power Station

From Derelict to Designer

Battersea Power Station has undergone one of the most impressive glow-ups on the south bank. The two enormous turbine halls and control rooms inside the Grade II listed building have become an Art Deco maze where you'll find fashion houses, fine dining experiences and evening entertainment.

Retail Therapy

Battersea Station is great for sales shoppers and regular retail therapists alike. Browse the racks of premium clothing lines like Massimo Dutti, Ralph Lauren and Tommy Hilfiger, or head to your go-to high street stores like Reiss and Superdry.

Ready to deck out your new kitchen? Le Creuset can be found on the upper ground floor in Turbine Hall B. Meanwhile, the General Store is popular with locals for the grocery shop and has recipes for you to use on the website.

Brunch and Bakeries

Whether you want a crafted cappuccino, a warm stack of pancakes or some doughnuts as a midday treat, Battersea Power Station has plenty of baked goods and breakfast options.

Where the Pancakes are wins the top brunch spot. This all-day pancake house has something for everyone, including a 3-in-one batter that’s vegan, dairy-free and wheat-free.

Kova Patisserie uniquely blends French pastry-making techniques with Japanese flavour combinations. The bright cakes and tortes are hard to resist, especially with bubble tea on the side.

Dining

Noci

Noci is an Italian-inspired restaurant specialising in all things pasta. Try the king prawn raviolo or garlic and oil spaghettoni with an aperitif.

JOIA restaurant

JOIA was created by the two Michelin-starred chef Henrique Sa Pessoa. The stunning Portuguese restaurant spans the 14th, 15th and 16th floors of art’otel in Battersea Power Station.

Wright Brothers

Boasting the freshest seafood dishes, the menu at Wright Brothers changes regularly based on the fresh catch from their wholesale stalls at Billingsgate and Brixham Market.

Drinks

Vagabond Wines is a wine bar in Circus West Village. It’s the place for a mid-afternoon tipple or splitting a bottle with friends after work.

If you’re looking for something stronger then Control Room 3 serves all-day cocktails. The dials and panels of the original building are a quirky backdrop for a slick centrepiece bar.

Entertainment

Why not try crazy golf, ping pong, or virtual reality gaming? Or, if you prefer the big screen experience, head over to the cinema found on level 3 in Turbine Hall B.

Fitness

Among the shops, you’ll find a variety of fitness activities that are perfect for some fun on your feet. Book spin classes and padel ball, or push yourself with a military-style training session at BMF Urban.

Special Events

Annual celebrations like Valentine's Day, Easter and Christmas mean there are regular events, deals and discounts to enjoy. Keep an eye out for what’s on through the website.
