Why not spend your Sundays strolling through Battersea Park or enjoying the riverside views? The Battersea Park and River Thames circular is a three-point-four kilometre, 44-minute walk loop. The route takes you around the outskirts of Battersea Park and along the waterside promenade. The park is 200 acres and has a children's playground, zoo and bandstand where you can see the boating lake.
Battersea Bridge to Westminster
The walk from Battersea Bridge to Westminster is a section of the Thames Path around four miles long. The route takes up to two hours and goes past the Battersea Power Station. You can see the Palace and the Houses of Parliament from the riverside.
Chelsea Bridge and Embankment Walk
Chelsea Bridge is one of the bridges that connects Battersea to the northern bank of the River Thames. The Chelsea Bridge and Embankment route is a short, circular walk perfect for stretching your legs on Sunday afternoon.
Albert Bridge Walk
Why not flip the Chelsea Bridge Walk around and start at the Albert Bridge instead? Both bridges connect Chelsea to Battersea, so you can walk along the Battersea Park promenade and complete the loop both ways.
